Peoria Seeks Public Input on Adding Streetlights

Peoria’s Streetlight Infill Program offers residents an opportunity to have additional lighting installed in their neighborhoods. The purpose is to provide an equitable process for obtaining additional street lighting along public streets and rights of way in established Peoria neighborhoods. The program is not available to new developments. Individuals can request an additional streetlight, as can a homeowners’ association (HOA) or other neighborhood group. Peoria accepts applications from Aug. 1 to Sept. 15 and from Jan. 15 to Feb. 28 annually. For more information on the application and review processes, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/streetlights.
